Megan Kearney is a Toronto-based cartoonist. She holds a degree in fine arts with a minor in English from the University of Windsor, and an honours degree in animation from Sheridan college. Her 2011 film, Once Upon a Winter Wood was described by Animation Insider as "...a universe of emotion, effectively seized by efficient pacing, sharp artwork, and much more", and showcased by Dreamworks Animation as one of the best student films of the year.
Megan's work has appeared in publications from Dark Horse, Bedside Press, Fairylogue
Press and in various anthologies. She currently manages Comic Book Embassy, a cheerful co-work studio based in Toronto's Chinatown, and writes for Disney Princess. She shares her Toronto home with her husband and son, a couple of grouchy rabbits, and a lot of laundry.
